exprisoners
exprisoners paid the priceWhat can exprisoners.co.uk website do for you? Hopefully, quiet a bit.  We understand what it is like to 'serve time'.  Sometimes, when people are released, they feel like they are still a prisoner, but on the other side of the fence!  All the time you were banged up you looked forward to the day when you would be set free, only to find you are treated as a prisoner on the outside.  Not everyone will embrace you and say 'well done you've done your time, now be free to live your life differently'.  However, that's how we want to treat you, you are a special individual that deserves to be treated with respect.  It will take time for others to treat you the same way, we all need to 'earn respect with other people'.  We can earn that respect by giving people respect first, whether they deserve it or not, or whether they are impartial or not.

We are not here to judge you but to help you. We are a team of volunteers who want to help in any way possible.  One of those ways is to provide a members portal of advice, job opportunities, c.v. writing services, fellowship, success testimonies, discounts on services and an opportunity to explore your faith.

rise up on eagles wingsWe are not here to force you to believe in God and our help is not conditional on you believing either, but without our faith, we would not be able to help you impartially.  We believe in miracles and for many exprisoners it takes miracles for them to 'start a new life outside of the physical prison walls'.  Check out our faith page, it might answer a few questions you may have.

As we are all volunteers, we need support from others, so if you feel that the vision we have is a good one, then please do not hesitate to offer any help you can, you can email us at help@exprisoners.co.uk

Life has many Up's and Down's
So are you going to let what has happened to you in the past, stop you from having a future?  When you were a child and you started to learn to ride a bike and fell off the first time you tried, did you say to yourself 'that's it I tried, I'm never going to try that again?'  When we make mistakes in our lives (and we will continue to make mistakes, hopefully less serious ones) we have a decision to make afterwards, 'do we live our lives in regret, or do we apologise, forgive people and ourselves and move on?'  Are you going to live ABOVE your circumstances or below them?
